The T1600 G-18 TS has a whole latte of L2 features, such as day-VLAN after 802.1Q, Port insulation, port mirroring, STP/RSTP/MSTP, link aggregation and flow control according to 802.3x. Furthermore, the switch advanced helpful functions such as loopback detection, cable test and IGMP Snooping. IGMP Snooping ensures that the switch multicast streams very intelligent only to the intended receiver forwards, while IGMP throttling and filtering the receiver to certain ports, in order to prevent unauthorized reception binds.

IPv6 support

T1600 G-18 TS supports different IPv6 functions such as dual IPv4/IPv6 Stack, MLD snooping, path maximum transmission unit (PMTU) Discovery and IPv6 Neighbor Discovery.

Management features on enterprise level

The T1600 G-18 TS is user-friendly and management. It supports many standard management functions, such as the intuitive, web-based graphical user interface (GUI), or SNMP (v 1/2/3). RMON support enables the retrieval of valuable status information about the switch as well as the sending of traps to abnormal events.
